Our Six-Step Synthetic Lawn Care Program

The Maintenance Division covers the Manhattan, Wamego, Fort Riley, St. Mary's, and Junction City areas. This includes residential and commercial maintenance in turf and ornamental plant care.

Mowing, pruning, cleanup, fertilization, and pest management are offered.

STEP 1

Fertilizer with Crabgrass Pre-emergent

Applied in LATE WINTER / EARLY SPRING

This includes fertilization with a well balanced fertilizer

and the best pre-emergent on the market.

This means an early GREEN up and a FULL growing

season of crabgrass control.

Step 2

Spring Broadleaf Weed Spray

Applied in SPRING

This includes a liquid application of a water-based, low odor, 4-way blend of herbicides designed

for fast knockdown and control of a broad range of

winter broadleaf weeds.

Fertilizer with Grub Control

Applied LATE SPRING / EARLY SUMMER

A slow release, well balanced fertilizer with a long lasting grub worm insecticide. It is highly effective at

controlling root damaging grubs throughout

the summer while slowing feeding your lawn.

Fertilizer with Iron

Applied in LATE SUMMER / EARLY FALL

This includes an advanced, slow release fertilizer with a high amount of iron for that beautiful,

golf course style deep green lawn.

Step 5

Fall Broadleaf Weed spray

Applied in FALL / EARLY WINTER

This includes a liquid application of a water-based,

low odor, 4-way blend of herbicides designed

for fast knockdown and control of a

broad range of broadleaf weeds.

Fall broadleaf spray is extremely effective at controlling persistent, reoccurring weed problems such as dandelions.

Step 6

Winterizer

Applied in LATE FALL / EARLY WINTER

Our final step includes a cost effective source of nitrogen

so your turf can hibernate with all the nutrients it needs for improved root growth and an early spring green up.

* The application dates vary due to growing conditions. Applications are timed with the weather to meet the demands of the turf and to have the greatest impact in preventing insects and weeds.
